Howdy!

Bob Meyer here, the original mountain man from Austin, Texas! WELCOME to the official MEYER'S MOUNTAIN MEN website!! This site has been created by one of my former campers, Ron Smith, from Mountain Men Trips in '69 and'70 (Austin, TX). I want to use this website to reconnect with all my old campers who have made history traveling with the Mountain Men!

The very best years of my life have been spent camping with Guys Like You! We have trailed the Rockies, traveling through all the magnificent Western States, Canada, and Alaska. We camped every night under the stars looking up at God's handiwork. Now that's Five Star Plus Camping. Shucks, we never even set tents unless it looked like rain. Every day was a Great New Adventure even better than the day before. I planned it that way. I have wanted to do a book about Meyer's Mountain Men for years and now, with your help we can Get Her Done! I want to reconnect with you, hear all your stories, share pictures, and see how Meyer's Mountain Men may have made a difference in your life and learn what you are up to these days. Shoot, it seems like everywhere I go I run into former campers who have stories and wonderful memories of the MMM days gone by. I think this site is THE way for us to gather the necessary info for our book, but I need your help. Let me hear from you!

There is a ton to tell on my side, like a book being written about Meyer's Mountain Men, an upcoming Meyer's Mountain Men Alumni Rendezvous in Austin and well, just tons more FANTASTIC stuff! Let me hear from you!
